What is at all about?

South African Schools face financial challenges. Although there are a number of business opportunities around a school, a school may not always be in a position to tap into these profitable opportunities. The MySchool System uses technology to harness these opportunities at many schools for the benefit of the schools, families and the businesses surrounding them.

Through smart card technology MySchool tracks and reward families spending at identified business. These "Business Partners" pay a percentage of a MySchool Supporter's purchases to MySchool. Support percentages range from 0.25% to 10% depending on the industry the partner is in.

Partners benefit from increase in turnover as MySchool shoppers rather do their shopping at MySchool Business Partners. MySchool also provides partners with more focused advertising, a unique back-to-school positioning, customer relationship marketing opportunities and the ability to run promotions at schools.

MySchool Business Partners can also demonstrate their support for the School Community through the MySchool system.

There is no cash outlay or risk for the school and the money raised is given to the Governing Body to be allocated as needed.
